Have you ever been in that place where you feel like you are just a robot going through the motions? Like it almost feels like you are going through your day on autopilot and you are just going through the motions which cause you to feel apathetic and resentful of your current position. These burned-out feelings are dragging you down and you know that you need to make some necessary changes to break free from your burnout.
In this episode, I interview Holly Stuart and she shares her story of teacher burnout and how she transitioned from rock bottom and feeling "neutral" about her teaching to feeling on fire and rocking student engagement using The Grid Method. She shares how her own transformation and outlook on teaching not only changed her life but also transformed her students' learning as well.
Holly is a mother of three as well as currently teaching 8th-grade science and design at an IB middle school. She is passionate about teaching science through a hands-on experiential approach with a strong emphasis on SEL and building relationships.
