As a teacher, we tend to spend most of our time taking care of others and our needs often go by the wayside.  This can lead to unhealthy habits, unhappiness, and burnout. But, in order to be our best selves for the people that we care about, we need to make sure that we are taking the time to take care of ourselves

In this episode, I talk with Holly Thompson, a full-time school librarian and fitness coach, about her challenges with burnout and how she has used her burnout more resilient than ever.  After her burnout, she has become a happier, healthier teacher by changing her mindset, habits, and perspective on what can happen when you meet challenges with a plan and daily action.

Holly is a full-time elementary school librarian near Minneapolis MN and has been teaching for 11 years. For the last 4, she has also been helping teachers take care of their health with nutrition and fitness.
